Wilfrid Wright is an art historian, curator and writer specialising in 20th and 21st century British and European sculpture, particularly the work of Elisabeth Frink. He studied History of Art at the University of Warwick and the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, and has since worked with museums and public institutions, as well as commercial galleries and private individuals, to develop research, curate exhibitions and manage collections, primarily relating to sculpture. He is a member of the Specialist Advisory Board of the Public Statues and Sculpture Association and a Curator at Messums ORG.
Wilfrid will be presenting a talk on Frink for the symposium on 12 July, ‘Elisabeth Frink: A View From Within’. The talk is based around the exhibition which is currently on at Salisbury Museum.
