The Mess is at the heart of Messums West and is an ideal place to reflect on the art on display whilst catching up with friends and family over a leisurely and delicious homecooked lunch. We offer seasonal light lunches between midday and 3pm, with coffee and cakes served during gallery hours.As we move into spring, outside seating in the sculpture courtyard offers our guests the chance to soak up more of the beautiful surroundings here at Messums.
On gallery preview evenings, The Mess is usually open serving artist suppers.
Our artist suppers are relaxed, convivial events with sharing dishes served on a long table and a chance to meet and chat with like-minded people. We offer a fixed menu (vegetarian option) designed and created on site.
