Meredith Owen is a British artist living and working in Cornwall, England. On completing her degree in Fine Art Photography at Falmouth University, Meredith moved to London and joined Bellerby & Co. Globemakers — one of the world’s few remaining makers of handcrafted globes. There she developed a meticulous attention to detail through processes including hand-painting maps, an experience that has shaped her approach to painting.

Travel has also played a defining role in her life and work, walking in the remote landscapes of Patagonia, Mongolia, and across Asia and Europe. In recent years, walking through Wales, England and western Scotland has formed the focus of her recent body of work.
