“Carved into lyrical formations by millions of years of wind and wave erosion, these marble caves of Lago Carrera, a lake extending across the border of Argentina and Chile, are a surreal marvel of the natural world. Infinite variations of shape, texture and colour are visible above and below the surface of the water.The cave mouth opens onto the lake itself and a cloud-covered mountain range visible in the far distance.”
