Mr Gumpy and Friends with Storystock for Messums West.

Join the Storystock storytelling duo bring to life the story of Mr Gumpy’s Outing by the late John Burningham. This is an iconic story set in the English countryside where Mr Gumpy takes his boat out on the river with a collection of fabulous friends which leads to all sorts of trouble.

The event starts with the story show using puppetry and song to introduce the children to the adventures of Mr Gumpy.

The show will be followed by a workshop where the children will create finger puppets and animal masks ready to embark upon the Mr Gumpy inspired treasure hunt incorporating the new exhibition in association with Port Regis School and exploring the glorious grounds of Messums.

Everyone will be back in time for tea.
