A Stranger Comes To Town is a brand-new, soulful touring story exploring the things we throw away and the way they sometimes come to define us. An interactive piece of storytelling created in response to the landscapes and artists of Mull. Written and Created by the Salisbury based, award-winning playwright and novelist Barney Norris.

 

A NEW PLAY BY LUCY HAYES

Brother Witch

at 3pm

1731. In restless, pre-revolution France, Catherine Cadière is about to be made a saint. But when her brother arrives with a startling revelation, Catherine’s life is thrust into chaos and threatens to destroy everything she thought to be true. Brother Witch is the true, remarkable story of the trial of France’s last witch.

 

POETRY AND NATURE WALK

Nadder/De Nada Poetry Walk

at 4pm

In conjunction with Orlando Gough’s sound installation, Messums is offering a contemplative Sunday afternoon walk accompanied by actor, Pippa Haywood.  The walk will take us from the barn to the river Nadder, taking in the beautiful natural surroundings with poems read by Pippa.
