Nick Botting (born 1963) is a celebrated English plein air artist who has developed a strong following here after a number of exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth over the last 15 years. Botting’s work is in the collection of the Melbourne Cricket Club as well as in the private collections of Lord Salisbury, Andrew LLoyd Weber and Sir Ian Botham, among many others. He has won several awards including the Robertson Award and Founder’s Prize from the Discerning Eye Exhibition in 1997 and 2008 respectively, as well as being highly commended for the BP Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery in 1989-90

Botting does not have an established secondary market; comparables on the primary market would retail for around £7,000.
