Lynn Chadwick CBE RA

[ 1914
- 2003 ]
Born in London in 1914, Lynn Chadwick wanted to become a sculptor from a young age, but his family persuaded him to pursue architecture as a more ‘viable’ career. He trained as an architectural draughtsman, before joining the Fleet Air Arm as a pilot in 1941.
