EXHIBITION CATALOGUE
Two series of paintings from two different residencies on Scottish islands. One in George Orwell’s old house, Barnhill by the sea on the Isle of Jura. The location for the writing of 1984 – a remote and isolated house where time has stood still since Orwell’s own time there.
The other in a traditional “blackhouse” on the Isle of Skye, a small thatched croft house in a crofting township on the coast.
