A two-fold exhibition at Messums Wiltshire presented a diverse range of contemporary and historical photographers; who each investigate aspects of identity. IMAGE addressed the ways in which these photographers employ visual manipulation to create finished photographs imbued with play, humour and surrealism.

Artists included: Peter Beard, Andy Warhol, Mick Rock, Norman Parkinson, Cecil Beaton, Angela Williams, Neal Slavin, Charlie Wheeler, Nancy Bundt, Ray Bellisario, Lewis Morley, Angus McBean, Daniel Farson, Martin Parr, Polly Penrose, Maisie Cousins, Natalie Crick, Juno Calypso and a collaboration between Anna Fox and Alison Goldfrapp.
