Sara Dudman RWA lives in the Blackdown Hills National Landscape in Somerset. She is lead artist for an ongoing habitat-restoration and associated participatory art project  in the Blackdown Hills, called ‘Rooted’, deepening connections between communities, their own habitats and each other. She has worked on interdisciplinary and collaborative projects across the South West of England in partnership with communities and conservation, wildlife and heritage organisations. The locus of her practice shifted in 2020 from remote and wild residencies to a passionate reacquaintance with her own locality in South West England. Sara is a Royal West of England Academician, contributing to research forums including Carbon – Borders – Voices, Walking The Land and PLaCE International.
