In conjunction with the exhibition ‘Presence: The Figure in British Postwar and Contemporary Sculpture’, a series of sculptors’ drawings from artists included in the main summer exhibition will be on display. The works presented will offer an insight into the making process whilst also considering the relationships between the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional in artistic practice.
The exhibition includes drawings by Kenneth Armitage, Jonathan Baldock, Christie Brown, Ralph Brown, Lynn Chadwick, John Davies, Laurence Edwards, Abigail Fallis, Elisabeth Frink, John Humphreys, Susie MacMurray, Brian Taylor, Emily Young and Carlos Zapata.
