RECITAL & DISCUSSION: Grove

Sculptor Laurence Edwards joined us for a talk and walk-through of his current exhibition SCULPTURE 2025 followed by a  recital and discussion of “Grove” with poet Zaffar Kunial.

Written over the course of three years and evolving from conversations between the two artists, Grove is a response to oaks, works, landscape and belonging. Join us for the recital as a spring board for further discussion on nature, making, creativity, roads and reasons.

‘Zaffar Kunial is a poet whose work thrills me, who makes you return to the origins of things, places, language and people again and again. He’s a poet who takes traditions seriously but makes of them something entirely new.’ Jackie Kay, poet, playwright, and novelist.
